Create a folder on your hard drive where the SM2 GUI can run such as "C:\Program Files\Desert RC\StandardMixer". It is recomended that a new, empty folder be created rather than sharing the contents of an existing folder. Extract all of the files contained in "sm2gui.zip" by double-clicking the file to show its contents. Drag and drop all of the files contained in the zip file into the new folder you have just created.

That's all there is to it. You can double-click the Desert RC cactus icon to run the SM2 Application, or you can create a shortcut on your Windows Desktop where it can launch by double-clicking a desktop icon. To create a desktop shortcut, right-click on the cactus icon, click "Send To", then select "Desktop". the Desert RC cactus icon will be created on your desktop where you can double-click it any time to run the Application.
