PWM
Selecting "PWM Value" from the "Display" menu causes the
SM2 Application to display all of the servo position settings as absolute
time values, or the amount of time that the associated pulse is in the high
logical state. Full-scale servo position varies slightly from system to system. The SM2
Application uses default settings with a maximum pulse width of 1.93ms, a
minimum pulse width of 1.07, and a neutral pulse width of 1.50ms. PWM
displays throughout the SM2 Application can be above or below these limits
depending upon how the controls are set. The picture shown above illustrates how the PWM values are shown for
the virtual servos in different positions. The values of 1.758ms and
1.242ms represent the pulse widths that would be applied to the servos for the
servo positions shown.
