Adding Comments
Comments can be added to configuration files as long as they stay above the
"Product ID Line" as shown below. The following is a sample configuration file
with comments: The Product ID line, Configuration ID, and Configuration Specifications are
generated by the SM2 Control Panel Application when the configuration is saved
from the File menu. If a text editor is used to make changes to a configuration
file make sure the editor is producing "Normal Text". Programs like MS Word are
not recommended unless the user knows how to save the document in normal text.
Programs like Notepad that only deal with simple text files are
perfect for marking up configuration files.
